Animation that follows the DMX addresses

Dear all
I have just started to use Madrix and I need your support to understand how to manage this simple animation.
I used "Editor Patch" to distribute my RGBW DMX pixels in a random position.
I would like to use the "SCE-scroll color" animation to light up these pixels but I need that the right sequenze follows the DMX addresses order. It means that the animation has to start from pixel 1 - address 1 and finish at pixel 20 - address 80. How can I do that?

Thank you so much

Hello michielan,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.

The MADRIX effects are working according to the patch underneath. That
means you will need to patch/place the desired fixtures at the correct
position. That means for instance the fixtures on the top left side in
real should be located also on the top left side at the patch and so on.
If now a color scroll is running it change the colors from left to right
at the preview and thus also in the reality.

In other words if you would patch fixture 1 besides fixture 2 and so on.
Now you can run a color scroll from left to right and every fixture will
be enlighten as you want.

In case of a random order of pixels in the patch it will become very
difficult. But MADRIX offers also the possibility to patch every fixture
twice with the same start address and universe at different positions
and thus pixel orders.
In that case you will need to map the different effects always neither
to the random order nor to the ascending order.
