Feature Request – Add UCS8603 IC / Pixel Protocol Support to MADRIX NEBULA

Hello MADRIX Support Team,

I’m writing to request UCS8603 LED driver (pixel) protocol support in MADRIX NEBULA.

We are currently using MADRIX NEBULA in a project where the installed pixel products are based on the UCS8603 IC. At the moment, NEBULA does not provide a selectable output protocol for UCS8603, so we cannot control these pixels reliably through NEBULA.

Request
• Please add UCS8603 as an available pixel/IC protocol option in MADRIX NEBULA (firmware and/or MADRIX 5 device settings, whichever applies).

NEBULA: Art-Net / sACN (Universe range: [enter])

Questions
1. Is UCS8603 support already planned or available in a beta firmware?
2. If not, is there any recommended workaround (e.g., compatible protocol setting) that you can confirm works correctly for UCS8603-based products?

Hi lughscape,

Do you have a datasheet of the protocol? If yes, please send it to info[at]madrix[dot]com so we can check if there is any alternative protocol and if we can implement it for the MADRIX NEBULA.

Thanks in advance!
