Non rectangular zones possible?
Hello,
Is there a way to create zones that are not simple rectangles? Perhaps other shapes, like an L, or circular? I'm aware that I can create groups of fixtures this way, but I'm looking for more control than just dimming. For example: I have a rectangular LED ceiling that has a chandelier coming ...

First Pixel of Several Universes Not Outputting
Hello,
I have 48 universes of DMX pixel tape connected to Madrix via 3 Artnet nodes. The very first Pixel on several of the universes is missing one of the 4 colors. I thought it was the strips until I checked DMX watcher, which shows no output on those channels. Everything appears to be patched ...

Re: How do I achieve better strobe effects?
How do I increase the render frame rate & sending frame rate? Is this related to the FPS performance test in the Madrix software?Guertler wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 4:26 pm Depending on your output protocol to increase the Strobe speed you will need to increase the render frame rate and also the sending frame rate.
Thanks!

How do I achieve better strobe effects?
Hello!
I have used Madrix in many venues with many different types of lights, but the one problem that seems to be consistent is the inability to create good strobing effects. Even when using the built in strobe effect, higher frequencies cause the lights to miss or skip, like they are stuttering ...

What's more important: GPU or CPU?
Hello,
I am getting ready to buy a computer for Madrix Professional, and I need to know what to prioritize. The install will use about 50 universes, and the LED strips will be controlled directly by Madrix. Does the GPU still handle the processing, or is that only when DVI is used? Should I get a ...

DMX Input Mapping
Hello!
In the user manual I can find information about using the Remote Control feature, but I cannot find information about what DMX input mapping is, or how to use it. Can you point me to the info? Thanks!
Cheers,
Eric
